By Road:
The village of Exton is just off the main A1 Great North Road,
exactly 100 miles north of London on the A606. Exton is situated
two miles north of Rutland Water. From the A606 follow signs
for Stamford out of Oakham, Or Oakham out of Stamford. Turn
left (or right) at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel & Restaurant signposted
Exton and continue along the road past Barnsdale Garden Centre.
Turn right at the signpost for Exton and continue towards the
Village where Church Farm can be found on the right hand side.
By Train:
There is an excellent high speed train service from Peterborough
to London Kings Cross taking 50 minutes, while both the local
stations, Oakham and Stamford, connect with either Peterborough
or Leicester. A direct train service runs between Oakham and
Leicester and also between Oakham and Stansted airport.
